“The Games Mistresses” of St. Bride’s were the mysterious team of writers responsible for 1980s British text adventure games such as the eponymous The Secret of St Brides, the joke-filled Very Big Cave Adventure, the crime-spoof Bugsy, and the deliberately controversial Jack the Ripper.
